A bottle of Mod Podge (aka ‘modge podge’) is any crafter's BFF.

Mod Podge is a non-toxic, water-based decoupage medium, glue, sealer, and finish designed specifically for arts and crafts projects.

Mod Podge can be used on paper, wood, fabric, glass, ceramic, canvas, terra cotta and tin. There is even a saying among crafters: “If it doesn't move, you can try to modge podge it.”

In the world of crafting, Mod Podge is super versatile. It can be used as a glue to adhere items to porous surfaces or painted over a project as a protective sealer or finishing coat. But it really comes into its own in decoupage projects for glueing paper or fabric to surfaces. It is white, creamy, of medium viscosity and dries clear.

Mod Podge was first invented in the USA in 1967 by Jan Wetstone and since then has gained global popularity among crafters across the world. The range has grown and evolved. You can add a hint of colour or transparent hues to glass and other surfaces with the Mod Podge Sheer colours. Why not add some bling and shimmer to a craft project with Mod Podge’s gold or silver glitter finish topcoat? For more dramatic sparkle, just add more layers. It is also dishwasher safe when used on glass or ceramics.

For decorative projects that are for outside, Mod Podge even has an outdoor product that is water-resistant - the perfect finish for use on wood terracotta, slate and tin.

In gloss or matt, a bottle or two of Mod Podge belongs in every crafter’s kit.
